Well, this shoot was quite tough for Xiaoyu. Our client was curious on how a blackout and subsequent wakeup look like under extraordinary circumstances: when Xiaoyu is standing, has no air in her lungs, and cannot breathe at all. X-cross and film dressing have been chosen for this purpose. Before we actually went for the “research”, we bound Xiaoyu to a chair and covered her nose and mouth with film dressing under different durations, from short to long, three times in total, in order to warm her up. Next we stood her to the X-cross and covered her airway with film dressing for three times again, asking her to keep full lungs, half lungs, and empty lungs of air, respectively, in order to adapt her body and mentality gradually to the extreme conditions of no air and no breathing. Finally she was ready for the last round. She knew that she would blackout for the first time by film dressing covering her nose and mouth, and she knew that that might be very painful. The fact is, that was even more painful than what she thought. After she breathed out air in her lungs and got her airway covered, she held her breath actively for more than a minute. There were a few contractions but in general she was still under control. However, once she can’t suppress the urge to breathe, things started to go wild. She can’t help sucking in void harder and harder, and the negative pressure made her lungs burning and a drumming in her ears. She gradually lost control to her limbs and started dancing on the X-cross. She faded away, hanging powerlessly at her wrists. When we brought her back, she was quite exciting and happy. The content is about a swim cap and latex hoods. Swim caps are good breathplay items, but their sealing is always tricky. One day I was just thinking, what if I seal the swim cap with a tight latex hood? Then came an experiment and Xiaoyu was the volunteer. This combination turns out to be amazing! Let’s see what Xiaoyu said. “It is so tight, tighter than inside a vacuum bag. I can’t talk, but only scream shortly. When I tried to pull off the latex hood with my wrapped hands, I can feel that there was plenty of air still captured inside the air bag of the hood, but useless. The other day we decided to try the same combination differently: a latex hood inside and a swim cap outside. First, Xiaoyu was wearing a black latex hood with nostril holes. The swim cap was put on top. “It is not as bad as the other way around”, Xiaoyu said, “the sealing of a swim cap on a latex hood is good, much better than on a bare head, but I can still rebreathe a little bit under the swim cap, so my lungs were not empty, although the little air became stale quickly”. I think her description sounds too gentle, but her action was really explosive: she even broke the tape that bound her right arm! At the end we replaced the black latex hood with a classic breathplay hood with no breathing hole. Apparently the pressure of an extra swim cap on top shrank the size of the air bag of the hood, and made her stay much more difficult than usual. “I was dizzy and confused at a moment”, she tried to recall what happened, “I felt that you removed the swim cap. I thought, oh, it was finally over, but then only found that I still can’t breathe fresh air, and I was feeling worse and worse. Why?     37 minutes    		  Xiaomeng Face Pressure and Breathplay - The topics of this video combine face pressure and breath control. In the first scene, Xiaomeng’s mouth was gagged by a foam ball. The ball is so big that you can’t even see any gaps between the ball and her lips, making it nearly impossible for her to breathe in air through her mouth. Film dressing was then applied to completely seal her mouth and nose, so that she was totally isolated from the rich air in the outside world and depending on her only oxygen reserve in her body. The film dressing even made her exhaling difficult. Look at her puffy face when she tried to breathe out. In the next scene, her head was enclosed and pressed by a nylon sock, and under this nylon layer her mouth was gagged by a normal ball gag. Then I first sealed a plastic bag over her head to observe how she would react to breathing only stale air, and then put another nylon sock outside the plastic bag to press and remove the cavity inside the bag, in order to observe how she would react to nearly no air to breathe. This was repeated several times until she was totally exhausted. In the second scene, with her hands wrapped and disabled again, I applied a plastic bag on her head and sealed it around her neck, so that I can mummify her head with black electrical tape on top of the bag. Of course, the operation needs time, and I didn’t want to break the bag, so I added a ventilation pipe to the bag in front of her mouth. I played her breath by using the lid of the ventilation pipe during mummification: first with no tape at all, later with lots of tape on head leaving only half face visible, and lastly the face being fully covered too. The air chamber for her to breathe became smaller and smaller, and in the end there was nearly no air when I closed the lid. It was a tough breathplay and I could hear her sobbing during the shooting. Do you notice that?
